Caroline Pappajohn was a Farber Fellow at New Door Ventures (then known as Golden Gate Community, Inc.), where she worked on growing their three social enterprises. Caroline spent the previous ten years in high-tech, entrepreneurial environments leading marketing and product management teams. She was also co-founder and COO of GearGoddess, an Internet consumer guide on sports gear for women, and ran a marketing consulting firm. Caroline began her career in the public sector as the legislative assistant to Senator Arlen Specter, focusing on business issues. Caroline received her B.A. and MBA from Stanford University. Her passion for nonprofits stems from 18 years of volunteering in the areas of youth, community service, and the environment, including as a current board member of Community Impact. Caroline is currently the Enterprise Director at New Door Ventures (then known as Golden Gate Community, Inc.).
