Farber Interns Program
Since 1997 the Farber Program has offered MBAs a unique opportunity to use their business and management skills within a social enterprise. To view 2008 opportunities click here. The Farber Program offers MBA students a number of benefits:
The Farber Program offers MBA students the opportunity to apply their business skills in a practical nonprofit context.
During the summer Farber Interns participate in workshops designed to enhance their nonprofit management skills.
A number of summer networking events are held for interns to meet with Farber Alumni and other leaders in the fields of social enterprise and venture philanthropy.
The REDF Portfolio team acts as a sounding board to the Farber Interns, helping them formulate social enterprise strategies.
Each summer a cohort of interns works on projects in REDF’s portfolio. This group of like-minded MBAs meets regularly to learn from each other’s unique experiences.
Farber Interns will join the 80+ Farber Alumni who are pursuing careers in social enterprise, nonprofit management and the for-profit sector.
REDF will have a table at Net Impact’s Career Expo each year. REDF staff will be available to meet you and answer any questions you may have.
Send an email to farber@redf.org to ensure that the Farber Intern job descriptions are sent directly to you.
If you have questions about the Farber Interns Program, please contact Emily Bolton at ebolton@redf.org.
