Phalarope Foundation has been instrumental in the development and success of the REDF Farber Program. A family foundation directed by venture capitalist Stuart Davidson of Labrador Ventures, Phalarope operates under the belief that enterprise development is the route to building strength in underserved communities. In addition to providing support to the REDF Farber Program, Phalarope Foundation has also directly funded members of the REDF Portfolio.

Stuart is personally committed to funding MBA students to work in nonprofits with social enterprises, in order to help facilitate the creation, growth and financial success of these businesses promoting social change. In addition, Stuart is Vice Chair and Secretary/Treasurer of the REDF Board of Directors.
