Hands-on Experience in a Social Enterprise

The ten-week Farber Internship offers MBAs the opportunity to apply their business skills to strategic projects in an entrepreneurial nonprofit context.

Professional Development Workshops

Farber Interns participate in workshops – such as “Pre-Feasibility and Business Planning” and “Identifying and Managing Social Costs” – to enhance their nonprofit management skills.

Networking

A number of summer networking events are held for Interns to meet with Farber Alumni and other leaders in the fields of social enterprise and venture philanthropy.

REDF Coaching

Each Intern has a REDF coach who provides guidance and acts as a sounding board, helping formulate social enterprise strategies.

Peer Group

Each summer there is a cohort of five to ten Farber Interns. This group of like-minded MBAs meets regularly to learn from each other’s unique experiences.

Alumni Community

Farber Interns will join the 100+ Farber Alumni who are leading change in social enterprise, nonprofit management and the for-profit sector.
