This paper is one in a series planned to examine the emergence of venture philanthropy in Europe, and examine prospects for its future development. The project begins with a survey of the landscape, following an intense period of innovation internationally. It is then likely to look more closely at the development of new financial mechanisms and undertake a feasibility study into aspects of social equity markets.
