Recyclable material collection at The President’s Cup

San Francisco Conservation Corps (SFCC) recycled 90% of the total waste produced at The President’s Cup last fall in San Francisco, diverting more than 42 tons of recyclable waste. For calendar year 2009, SFCC and its young people recycled more than 300,000 tons of materials from San Francisco’s waste stream.

Learn more about SFCC and their jobs for at-risk young people by attending a special gathering on the Mayor’s Balcony in San Francisco’s City Hall, tomorrow, June 9 at 5:30pm. SFCC will be unveiling their new look and direction for the future. Join them to hear inspirational young people and enjoy hors d’oeuvres and beverages.
