Current Portfolio
We have the power to end joblessness. Doing so requires strategic investment, a long-term commitment, sharing knowledge, and capacity building for effective organizations. These are the hallmarks of REDF’s approach.
REDF works in different ways with a variety of organizations. We are most highly engaged with the REDF Portfolio of early-stage nonprofit enterprises (listed below), which we offer a combination of business assistance, access to networks and financial support over several years. Some past portfolio member organizations, while not part of our high engagement portfolio now, continue to work with us toward our common goals. REDF provides past portfolio members with occasional targeted funding, networking, and issue-specific convenings so that we have opportunities to learn from one another and collaborate.

According to former REDF Board member Stuart Moldaw, who helped select SFCC for the REDF Portfolio, “My visit to the San Francisco Conservation Corps showed me what wonderful work they do, and how good a fit they will be as a member of REDF’s portfolio. I was especially impressed with the presentations made by the young people from the work crews.” More » |
